With a 23 metre overhang and an advanced design Aula Medica is one of Stockholm's most innovative buildings in recent years. Karolinska Institutet has long had an extensive active relationship with the wider community and therefore also a great need for its own meeting hall facilities. Meetings in Aula Medica and Biomedicum Close to Vasastan in Stockholm is Aula Medica, Karolinska Institutet's large auditorium. The auditorium is located by Solnavägen facing the new Karolinska University Hospital. Our premises are excellent for both internal and external conferences, general meetings, meetings and events. The Karolinska University Hospital is a teaching hospital affiliated with Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden, with two major sites in the municipalities of Solna and Huddinge.

Aula Medica was completed in the summer of 2013 and houses a 1,000-seat auditorium, office space for 90 staff, 100 conference seats, two restaurants and a café. As Karolinska Institutet selects the Nobel Prize laureates in medicine or physiology, there has been a demand for a large venue for their lectures.
